Funeral services for Bonnie Charrier Beaubouef will be held at Acme Free Methodist Church on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 10AM with Bro. Sam Tinsley, Sister Cindy Robinson, and Jan Mills officiating. Interment will follow to Acme Free Methodist Church Cemetery, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. Bonnie Charrier Beaubouef was born to Milton and Beatrice Fisher Charrier on February 26, 1938 in Acme, La. She left this world in the early hours of September 21, 2018 in Monroe, LA. After years of sickness and pain, she quietly slipped away in her sleep. We rejoice for her healing in Heaven but she leaves many who love her and will miss her. Mama loved her God and her family unconditionally. She set an example to her children how to serve God and how to treat others. Mama was a person that people loved to talk to and she was a wonderful listener. When someone came to repair anything at the house or the gas man came to fill up her butane, she would make coffee, get out a cake and before they left � and sometimes before they start working � she would be looking at pictures of their kids and family and listening to stories about them. She loved being a hostess to family, friends, friends of friends, preachers and whoever passed by. She was gracious and always made whoever walked in her door feel at home. She was always involved in church and at various times served as Sunday School Teacher, Secretary, Building Committee Member at Acme Free Methodist Church. She truly was a kind person with a beautiful smile. When she had to move to Avalon , she quickly became the pet of all the nurses and aides. She always smiled and chatted when she saw them and expressed her appreciation for every little thing they did for her. She made them very special. Mama had no fear of death because she knew where she was going. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Joe, sister Joyce Lipsey and brother Grady Charrier. She is survived by daughter Cindy Beaubouef Dwyer (Kevin), Lyle Charrier Beaubouef (Sandy), Brother David Charrier (Floradine), stepgrandchildren Lauren Dwyer, Victoria Munsterman and Wesley Munsterman. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews whom she loved deeply Each one of them was very special to her. We thank the whole staff of Avalon Place especially our nurses: Bonnie, Frankie, Regina, Alisha and Felicia and the aides, especially Joyce who took such good care of Mama and spent much time with her talking. Huge thanks to all of the crew from Compassus Hospice and our hospice nurse Daphne Martin. She was Mom�s nurse and took great care of her but more than that, she and Mom would sit and laugh together at every visit. Mama always looked forward to seeing Daphne. Special thanks to Sissy Adams who helped her so much before she had to move to Avalon and extra special thanks to David and Flo Charrier who loved her dearly and were always there for her. She loved them so much and we will never forget all they did for Mama.
