Clyde Ray Webber and Rev. Stuart Sherman officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Natchez, MS, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. Beth Ellen was born on Wednesday, July 26, 1933 in Winnsboro, LA. and passed away peacefully onTuesday, January 01, 2019 at Camelot Leisure Living in Ferriday, LA. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Thomas Whitfield Stodghill Sr. and Jewell Taylor Stodghill of Winnsboro, LA. Beth Ellen married her High School Sweetheart, William Richard Tucker "Tommy" in 1951. They had 3 Children, Ellen Tucker Yates, Merry Tucker Bonnette and William Rollie Tucker. Beth and Tommy raised their children in Vidalia, LA and then moved to Natchez, MS in 1973, where they lived for 19 years. After Tommy passed away, she moved back to Vidalia, LA. Beth taught piano for 57 years. She also enjoyed playing the Pipe Organ for Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church every Saturday and Sunday, then leaving after the service and playing for Church services at the Vidalia Presbyterian Church. Beth Played for many Weddings, Funerals and other events throughout her lifetime. She also played the piano or organ while her husband Tommy sang. Beth was a member of the Musical Art League, a board member on the Natchez Childrens Home and a member of Vidalia Methodist Church. Every year she entered her piano students in the Mississippi State Festival of Music competitions, where most of her students made Superior. Music was her life. She was preceded in death by her Parents, husband Tommy and son William. She is survived by 2 Daughters- Ellen Yates and her husband David of Vidalia, LA and Merry Bonnette and her husband Steve of Natchez, MS: Brother- Thomas Whitfield Stodghill II of Monroe, LA: 6 Grandsons- David Alan Yates, Jr., Paul Douglas Yates, William Richard Bailey, Lucas Gabriel Bailey, William "Tuck" Tucker and Wayne Harveston 4 Granddaughters- Holly Elizabeth McDaniel, Michelle Bailey Young, Aislinn Danielle Bailey and Love Tucker She is also survived by 20 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren. . Pallbearers will be her Grandsons. Memorials may be made to the Chartiy of Choice.
