Jerry Sharp officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery, Sicily Island, LA, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. Raymond Skipper was born on Thursday, April 08, 1948 in Waterproof, LA. and passed away Saturday, January 18, 2020 in Waterproof, LA. He was a resident of Waterproof and a member of Sunnyside Church. Raymond was a life long farmer starting at the early age of 17. He was an avid outdoorsman, loving to fish and hunt, gardening with Claude Fry and mechanicing on the side. Raymond was a Volunteer Firefighter and loved helping others in any way, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by Father- Luther D. Skipper Sr. Mother- Ruth Howell Skipper Wife- Ellan June Skipper Wife- Patricia Keys Skipper 2 Brothers- James Skipper and Luther Skipper Jr. 3 Sisters- Sherry Skipper Guthrie, Louise Skipper Welborn and Mary Belle Skipper White Grandson- Chase Skipper Step- Daugher- Krista Keys Hula He is survived by Wife- Sherry Parker Skipper of Waterproof, LA Son- Raymond Keith Skipper and his wife Carolyn of Clayton, LA Son- Kevin Skipper and his wife Linda of Sicily Island, LA Step-son- Joshua Howington of Lake Concordia, LA Step-son- Nicholas Howington of Wisner, LA Step-daughter- Leasa Keys Maier of Natchez, MS Step-daughter- Dana Keys Shell of Bude, MS Step-daughter- Shanna Keys Wynn of TN Step-daughter- Haven Howington Black and her husband Travis of Baskin, LA Brother- Bo Skipper and his wife Lynda of Newellton, LA Sister- Alene Skipper Hoss of Taylor, AR He is also survived by 24 Grandchildren and 17 Great-Grandchildren Pallbearers will be Matt Myers, Allan Hollis, Barry Sharp, Seth Howington, Dean Howington and Bill Harrell.
